Parliament Square re-development Project Stage 3 and 4 located in the area of Murray Street, Davey Street and Salamanca place in Hobart CBD is currently under construction by Vos Construction and Joinery Pty Ltd, this project provides many difficult and complex challenges in managing the risks of Work Health and Safety, the Environment and existing Heritage values which Vos managed exceptionally well.

Highlighting some of the complex challenges in Work Health and Safety in regard to high risk work that Vos have managed exceptionally well are:

• Location of the project in managing traffic and the public by implements progressive Traffic Management Plans as the project evolves;
• Managing demolition and removal of asbestos;
• Managing working in confined space; and
• The ongoing challenges of Working at heights, for workers and the public
