Winner – Vos Construction and Joinery Pty Ltd – Hobart Airport Freight Precinct

With a 37-metre clear span, 6000 square metres of floor area, and technically advanced cool room and freezer facilities, this is a large and complex project.  Delivered to a very tight programme, and with significant changes of scope added at a very late stage, Vos Construction and Joinery nonetheless have constructed it to the very highest construction standards.  The fact that substantial site works were also required, and challenging wind conditions needed to be managed on a daily basis, is further testament to their application in doing so.  The final result is an excellent demonstration of the builder’s delivery skill for large and complex projects.
