Winner – Pro Build Tasmania – Two Woods House

Successful heritage work breathes new life into old buildings. On the 125th anniversary of its original construction, Pro Build Tasmania has done exactly that with this Launceston end-of-terrace house. Externally restored, and internally transformed, this building has been given a whole new lease of life. Current work matches or counterpoints the original and there has been extraordinary attention given to every detail, with this care epitomised by the utterly modern internal stair which nonetheless utilises treads from the original staircase and is a wonderfully crafted contemporary take on the original.
