Winner – My Build – The Fishing Lodge

It has been a delight to encounter this project by My Build that is constructed to the highest standards, but which also incorporates humour, whimsy and a touch of madness.  How else to explain a stone fireplace the size of a cottage that squats in the centre of the house, then spills outside to occupy part of the deck area as well?  Or the trout motifs that populate every element of the house?  To pull off this act of irreverence with style, class and undoubted quality is a major achievement and a credit to the builder.
