Winner – AJR Construct – Stowport Residence

Across all of the housing in this year’s awards programme this entry by AJR Construct is one of the standout projects.  The quality of construction with which the scope and ambition of the project has been met is outstanding and virtually without fault.  Particular features that linger in the memory long after visitation are the extensive stonework, and the stunningly extensive suite of joinery with which the house is fitted.  The quality of finish to every surface is outstanding and flawlessly conceals the undoubted challenges embedded within the construction.  This is a true showcase of excellence in building.
