Unique Achievement in Construction

Fairbrother Construction

St Lukes Health

This category acknowledges exceptional projects which have not been captured elsewhere in the Awards program. This is the case for Fairbrother’s work in completing Tasmania’s first multi-storey mass timber building at St Lukes Health. Extraordinary challenges included becoming familiar with the demands of building with GLT and CLT and organising the supply logistics of these materials from a suite of international and local suppliers. The final result is a striking building that showcases its mass timber credentials and offers a vibrant, permeable contribution to the local urban realm.
